2015 was pretty incredible for Lyre, with ongoing DVD sales of our 2 feature films, plenty of script development, plus new shoots throughout Scotland.
It was a privilege collaborating with new crew and creating original work.

The rewards come when going through the rushes in the edit. Quality results time and again.
This year looks set to keep the run going, and we cannot wait to get the kit out.
So we wish you all a truly Happy New Year! May 2016 bring adventure and opportunity and reward.

In February we were shooting the latest segment of UNF.
4 days in a flat on Leith Walk. 3 actors, 7 crew.
Here’s a couple of images from the shoot, snapped by the ultra-talented Thomas Morgan.
It’s been a busy start to 2015!
Lyre and our comrades at Dotbot were commissioned by people in California to create a film detailing the system of money / debt in the US economy.
With a fantastic cast & crew we shot at Summerhall over one January weekend.

Through the generosity of contributors our target on Indiegogo was achieved !!

£4,023 was raised which enables us to complete the shooting of our new feature.
The support has been amazing. Messages of encouragement have been coming in for the last 35 days. This week we’ll be busy sending out rewards to the people who contributed.
It’s been a rewarding, happy campaign – a great chance to explain to people the film we’re making & why. Now, we’re planning the next stage of the shooting in January. Much work to do.
