The film had a fantastic premiere at Genesis cinema, and the audience gave our indie schizophrenia love story a brilliant reception. Massive thanks to owner Tyrone Walker-Hebborn for bringing the film to his cinema. A privilege to see Riptide for the first time publicly on a cinema screen, and experience the film as it was intended to be experienced.
Cast member David Whitney joined writer / director Tim Barrow for the Q&A, and special guest Sameer Jauhar provided an illuminating insight into his work with schizophrenia – its manifestations, causes and treatment, and inspiring tales of recovery.
Due to Covid, probably the last cinema screening until 2021, then we’ll tour the film as widely as possible.
